At the risk of a previous tongue lashing of doubt from some others, I have turned on the hazards and overid the limiter. Buried the needle and some. I promise to post a vid of this in the near future. On a dyno of course!!! I was told to do this by a bud who was the salesman and sold me the truck. Mine is the TSS and I have 2 friends w/ TRD's and they both said it didn't work on theirs. But I wouldn't think that matters.

Interesting that it worked on yours and not theirs. The TRD should not make a difference.

I have an 08 dc 4x4 whit 20'' tires and mine shuts down at 115 mph

I called Jay at the dealership I bought it from, he now works in service, and he has a crewmax to ask him why others are not working. He had no answer, but said he would check about it. He also said that his works the same with hazards overiding the limiter. I want to do exhaust, CAI, etc. along with changing plugs n wires due to the mileage on my truck, so I want to go to a dyno anyway to post what changes as far as numbers so you guys can know what to expect in your trucks later miles. I will vid the process and overide to post and see what we can figure out.

Cool Limiter

I have an '07 reg cab, short bed..5.7..20" rims..it shuts down at 112mph..
That's a very interesting point about the limiter being connected to the sixth gear..
