| truck shutting off at 95???? well i just got my tundra about 2 weeks ago and waited till i got a little over a thousand miles on it to give it a little hell.i stompped it and off we went. in a very short amount of time the truck stops at 95 and will not go any faster and that was a big dissappointment. can some one help me and tell me what i can do to get the speed limiter off my truck. any info will be greatly appreciated. |

| Speed limiter should be above 105. Tell your dealer you were at the 1/4 mile track and the limiter shut the truck down just before you got to the finish line. See if they can change it.

| i have watched that same video on you tube before i tested mine out and i was all excited. as for the wheels that are on my truck they are the 20 inch toyota rims. i hope they come out with something soon. if there is one thing i cant stand its a speed limiter. |

| Mikecheat is from the US. I think he has a rcsb. Some 07 trucks have the limiter set at 107 and others have the limiter set at 115. I have no clue why there is a difference in the limits set. Maybe that's the difference in the 4:10 and the 4:30 rear end. That would mean the limiter is more of a 6th gear RPM limiter... maybe. That would also explain how the Dubai guys could regear and get a higher top speed. I also don't know why Dream4it's truck would shut down at 95. Maybe it was lowered in the 08 model. |
