tire balance prob

having some shimying at highway speed. vehicle tracking good but feeling every little bump in the road. had wheels balanced 3 times with no luck. took trucdk in and they said everything is fine except he felt like it was still not balanced right. any suggestions. please write me at rwsistrunk@yahoo.com

Are they stock wheels or aftermarket? If aftermarket, do they need centering rings? If stock, here is an article that might help.

I was told by my tire shop that the Tundras (as well as some other Toyota vehicles such as the Land Cruiser) have to be balanced off the wheel lugs and not the center hole.

If they're telling you they're balanced - they probably are.

NTB told be the same thing regarding our former Mirano.

This did the trick when "conventional" forms of balancing failed - Hunter GSP9700 Wheel vibration Control System solves wheel vibration and tire pull problems that balancers and aligners can’t fix
