Have 2008 tundra, V8, 2 WD. As well as the two lights, The following doesn't work, Tach, oil pressure shows L, Shift lever doesn't show, Cold-Hot gauges show cold on hot motor, Speedometer fluctuate backward by 10-15 Km, Battery gauge show needle in centre, fuel gauge does work. Any ideas?

Check fuses.

I would guess its a fuse, but since its still under warranty I'd let them figure it out!

Truck purchased 13 May, from May 29 to 15 Aug, this scenario would happen 2/3 time a week, I would turn ignition off, re-start and all is well. On 15 even turning off didn't help. Called dealer, person stated earliest booking in is 19 Aug. I started truck several times, guages not working. On 15 Aug truck started and gauges OK. Arrive at Dealers, person at service desk told me I should have come in without appointment. They checked computer and found no errors. I asked Mgr why couldn't mechanic/technition figure out a diagnosis from info I supplied. Stated it could be anything and easiest way to see condition as is. Haven't had problem since, but will drive direct to dealer when it happens again. Mik

Truck at dealers for service Sep29 when they started truck to move it, they noticed that the gauges, lights etc were all making odd movements, comment made, "dash lights were going nuts". new computer ordered. waiting now for that.

So do they put in a 2010 computer or do they have 2008 computers they can install?
