| AC blows cold but not very hard I have an 08 tundra dbl with 4.7 my ac blows cold but not hard. With the switch in max ac position blower nob on full and rec on. I feel it blow a little harder then with out it being in the max ac posititon. Just seems to me like it dosn't blow hard. I have an 08 Dakota, 07 Ram, and an 07 ford 500 (daddy drives the tundra) the other 3 vehicles when in max mode will blow you out of the seat. Does anyone else have issue with their ac blowing hard. I havnt changed the cabin filter I'll do that this afternoon. But dosent the filter only filter incoming fresh air? Sorry for typos typng this out on iPhone |

| My 08 has a big difference when you put on the max / recycle mode, it blows much harder...........and your right, the cabin filter should be changed but should not make a difference in the max mode..........

| The cabin filter filters all the air coming into the blower motor. If it gets full of dirt it can significantly reduce the air flow through the ac. I would check that first. |

| I think unclejt is right. Looked to me like it filters all air. Mine blows pretty good with the fan on high and air on recirculate. I never put it on MAX. Of course it does take a little longer to get really cold air when the truck is really hot.

| That's just it. There is no question about it blowing cold. I'm going to change the filter this afternoon when I get off. I'll report back and let yall know. Also I spoke to another tundra owner he said he was having a similar issue changed the filter it helped some. Put it in for service it turned out to be a switch. He didn't say which switch. My truck has a Dr. Apointment Monday morning if the filter dosn't fix it. |

| Changed the cabin filter. It definatly blows better. But I still think it should blow harder. With the blower on hi and recirc button on. It seems to blow exactly the same as it being on max. Is that right? |

Wait, do you mean the Max A/C spot on the temperature dial? I think that is the exact same as having the blower motor on 'full' and recirculate on - just a faster way of doing it when you first jump in the truck.
