Remember this about the picture of the truck and the surroundings. So you don't have to have mods to win. The theme for this month were that either the number 75 or the number 289 had to be in the picture somewhere. So pick the picture that you like the best.

Toxarch clearly should win,
It is a TRUCK PHOTO CONTEST. I made my living in automotive photography industry. And any picture has criteria guidelines to be adhered to. If you are taking a family photo you would not crop out grandma. As with this contest it is a truck picture contest with a "twist" the number. All of the finalists got the "twist" right, but all except Toxarch failed on the truck photo part. Asin forgot to wash it and clearly had the opportunity to do so, mendonsy was concentrating on the "twist" in fact he covered the truck with it. KEPJR777 also doesn't like the front of his truck any more than mendonsy, tonylop33: put the effort to bring a pointer to help us find the number but should have placed his truck so a tree didn't cast a shadow over it.
As you all can see Tox clearly should win!

fly, while I don't disagree with some of your analysis, another way to look at this is that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder!" LOL, that's why we select the TOTM winner by a vote of the members, and not by a professional or amateur photographer!


And, btw, this was a very tough month for me to chose one of 5 great entries, but I gotta go with Tony!

Tox don't get to high on my vote. Though your picture had the truck clean and centered in the shot , your background does truly suck.

Didn't have much of a choice. And actually the truck is quite dirty, I just positioned the shot so you couldn't see the dirt in the pic.

Tox is getting quite good at "hiding the dirt," lol! Several times I've complimented him on how clean his truck looked, and his response was the truck was actually really dirty.
