Which shifter do you have?

I have the column shifter and I hate it, it's too hard and it always goes down to S, I wanted to console shifter but this is what the dealer ordered.....

You are use to your Titan! But you did get an additional seat!!

Maybe they can adjust it for you at the dealer?

You'll get used to the shifter. It took me about two weeks. Now it is natural as can be and when I get back into the Ford it seems like that shifter is a baby shifter. (What the hell is that? Did I say that out loud.)

Console. I didn't like the zig-zag design at first, but I've got it down pat now. I'm also a huge fan of downshifting with the sequential shift mode.

You had the column shifter on your Titan? I didnt so I wouldn't know how it worked. Nor would I know what its like on the Tundra. That was a requirement for me in the Tundra...having the floor shifter. I got use to it in my titan and love the way it makes me feel like I am driving a stick. I use the sport mode often pretending I'm Mario Andretti!

It's freakin hard, then when it does move it goes all the way down....which sucks when you are just trying to put it in reverse.....lol

I don't have any problem with it in my Tundra. Shifts very smooth. I let my dad drive it after I got it. I noticed he meant to put it in D and ended up in S. Not good to cruise down the highway in 4th.
