I love the console shifter! It's different from the one in our Titan's & Took some getting use to, But now I have it down and love using the Sport shifter!

I love my console shifter. Like some others, it was different because of the zig zag configuration. But, now that I am used to it, I love it. I do remember the first time in the truck (test drive) I could not figure out where the shift indicator display was on the dash! Just my opinion, I love the bucket seats and to me it is worth not having the extra seat in front. The kids would just fight over it anyway! LOL

Mine was too at first, after a month I never shift into S.

are we talking about the ones on the new ones were if you have it on the steering column you get the extra seat or if you have it in the console you have the deep middle console?

Hey Sapper, Is your truck a "Tundra Grade"? I thought SR5 and Limited had console shift and all column shifters are Grade trucks........

For the 07 models, there was no Tundra Grade. You could get the column shifter on the SR5 and possibly the Limited too. I think you still might be able to, but they mostly make console shifters now.
