I didn't see an option that applied to me, so here is my response. I was tired of dealing with my last truck. Wanted something new and more reliable. It was a hard decision because I did not like the way the truck looked AT ALL. I liked how large the cab was, but the front end was so ugly to me. I am finally starting to actually like the way my truck is starting to look! I do like the additional power over the Titan as well.

I don't think I'll ever feel the way I did when I bought my second Titan. It was everything I wanted, and SO EXCITING!!! I should have listened to myself the day I bought it when I said..."this one is staying mostly stock." Oh well. However, the Tundra is showing great promise, and I can't wait until more mods are available

I didn't want to pigeon hole my reasoning as I was probably the most "reluctant" (for lack of a better description) buyer of an 07 Tundra...ever! Now that I am starting to play around with it I am getting that "excited' feeling I've been missing for quite a while.

Here's to hoping! It may be a first year for a new model, but no troubles yet

I didn't need the towing capacity, but all the rest fit my answer so I said all of the above. Toyota reliability being the main reason.
Any questions about truck mods I have done need to be asked in the forums. Don't send me a private message about mods cause I probably won't answer that PM unless there is money involved.

At first I wasn't even interested in the Tundra. Amy kept on telling me you ought to go test drive one, but I just kept shrugging her off...lol(Imagine That). Then one day we dropped my daughters off at school and she swindled me into the dealership, That's when i saw the Red TRD! Once I saw that truck and test drove one, It was a done deal! I am completely satisfied with my truck!

For the 1st time ever, I was in a position to get a new vehicle, after looking at everything that I could, the Tundra was the only one that I could get that had everything I wanted in a truck, right down to the interior color, for the right price. Toyota reliability was probably the main factor, but it didn't hurt that the dealer gave me a price on my trade-ins that no other dealer around here could come close to.

I was a Toyota guy for 15 years until I bought my ranch in central Texas. Needed towing of 8,000 to 9,000 lbs. The pre-2007 Tundra didn't come close, so I bought a Titan in June 2004 (which hands-down was the best truck I ever owned). That said, when the new Tundra came out, I didn't care for it initially (but admittedly, I initially felt the same way about the Titan). The more I looked the more at the Tundra, the more it grew on me... then I test drove one.... the rest is history. Will it exceed my Titan? Too early to tell, but I sure like what I have experienced so far!
