Is the new S/C different than the S/C for the 07-08 Tundras? Is this just for the non-FFV engines?

They are not going to have a S/C for the FFV engines. S/C will be the same as well as power output and torque its just the mapping of the ECU that they had to finish for the 2009 and 2010.

Well I was told the only 2010 4x4 CM's shipped to Gulf States Toyota dealers were all flex fuel, thus thats the only one I could order.

I never intend to use E85, there are not even stations around here.

So...will the S/C work with flex fuel engines, if we never use flex fuel? Or are guys with Flex engines just screwed for ever?

Not compatible unfortunately... We got stuck with all the 4x4's being FFV as well here and I hate it!! They have different fuel mapping, different injectors and simply won't work.

Now here is something I was just thinking about... I wonder what all the differences are? If its just the ECU and injectors couldn't we just get a different ECU and install the injectors that come with the S/C kit?

You haven't bought the truck yet. I would start looking for a 2009 4x4 without FF.

There's a lifted (6" stage II) 07 CM in Aledo on Craig's List for like $23K IIRC.

I ordered it May 11, supposed to be here Mid-August. The 2009's are the same thing 4x4 are all flex...and for me it has to be a first use vehicle. Its going to be a business asset and first use assets have income tax benefits

Section 179 vehicles can be used vehicles. Or is there another deduction that you are putting it under?
