| Is it normal to just have a tire-like valve on the truck for the bags? All the ones I have been around have been on low-rider trucks and they have their own electric compressors and air tanks on their trucks for their bags. Course, they air up and deflate their bags all the time so I guess they would have to have the compressor.

| How exactly do the bags help out? - does it improve the ride and load capabilities, or are they just for looks so the truck isn't squatting under load? would they help for trailering/stability?

and yes it does help the ride not such a stiff ride when fully loaded because it is not sitting all the load on that monster bottom spring. ![]() |

| I had an Air Lift brand compressor kit on a T-100 (The one I hit the ALCAN with). When I had it loaded down pretty good without them, it rode horribly (Think Crown Victoria with bad shocks) and the shocks werent bad, but it still sagged without the bags. It kept it from bottoming out and SIGNIFICANTLY increased the ride feel IMO. It would probably significantly reduce the bed bounce with in ride adjustment. Hmm...but where would I put the air compressor? I had that professionally put in in 2002 for about $500. |
