Air Bags?

Hi Guys,

First post for me on this forum. I,m looking at getting a 2008 Crew Max 4X4. My question is that I want to lower the truck to make it easier to get in with a wheelchair but drive it at normal ride height without losing ride quality. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tim

While I can't really help you on your question (but I bet there are some members who can, and will help you out!), I do want to welcome you to TTZ! Feel free to join right in and post your heart out. And, we love pics, so when you get your truck, post some pics when you get a chance.

I have never been in a truck with an airbag lift and had a smooth ride. They all seem so rough when riding around. I suppose it could be done if you were to put on a lowering kit and then use air bags to lift the truck. Not really sure. I have a couple of friends who have done a lot of bagged trucks. Let me see what they say and I will get back to you.
