Don't align your truck!

I'm am a small business owner, D & E Alignment Escondido CA. your collision specialist. I thought leveling my truck would look nice so the first week I had it the kit went in (Daystar). Back in April I didn't have specs for my 07 Tundra so I took a baselne reading before installing the kit. To my suprise the toe was in almost 1/4", way to much for a new vehicle. I put the kit in and aligned it. Two weeks later 1000 miles, I drive alot the truck felt loose so having some free time, lunch time I checked it, and found it to be over 1/4" toed out. All alignments should wait for at least 1000 miles. Why you ask ? Spring sag (settling of the front springs). Having worked on many fresh off the lot cars yeah they get wrecked alot I should have thought about this but hey sometimes brainfart.

I put the Top gun 2 1/4 kit on my 08 dub. cab and I drove it only 300 miles before the alignment the bottom of the front wheels where kicked in so I didnt want to wait any longer. so they said the toe was off and they fixed that but the camber was also off and they could not do anything for that and the front tire's are still kicked in. now what do i do ?

Same here...had a readylift put in and alignment check at a local shop that does them all the time, drove for a bumpy 500 miles and had the alignment checked and corrected again to factory specs at the same place = $200

I too would take it elseware and bring the bill back to the first guy when they get it fixed.
