What are the largest tires you can use with the 2.4 " ReadyLift

I am getting ready to get a leveling kit installed, and I am thinking of going with the 2.4 Readylift. I know the kit says you can run 33's but I also read that you can squeeze 33's with the stock setup.

What is the largest size tire anyone is running with this kit?

Is anyone running 305X65 R18's with this kit?

Also, is anyone on the forum running the Daystar kit?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I know there are several with the Truxxx. I thought there were one or two with the Readylift. If you get the daystar, you will want to get a differential drop kit. Anything over 2.5" should have the diff. drop added to the truck.

With any of the above lifts, you should be able to fit 35" tires with a few minor mods like removing the front mini mud flap and bending the skid plate. Try a test fit before you pay for the wheels to be sure.

I appreciate it Tox,

I thought some of the members had readylift as well from previous posts that I had read. I called Readylift, and talked to one of their "tech" people. He said that I should not go over the 33" diameter. I told him I was looking to go with 305X65 R18's, and he said they wouldn't work.

That is why I was hoping someone with the actual kit could tell me what they are running. I have no problem trimming some palstic, or bending the skid plate, but I want to be sure before I pay that much for the tires. They have to special order the tires in that size, so I have to pay in advance.

I can't do a pre-fitting, which sucks.

Thanks for starting this thread grunier and posting these links Tox.
Got a 2.4 lift a couple weeks ago (no pics yet) and was wondering about what size tires will fit.

I love the lift..Additional front ground clearance alone made it worth while and it also puts the hood even with a stock cheby 2500 or F-350.

You can run a 35 with a 2.4, but you are going to run into some interference issues that will have to be addressed. The offset of your wheel of choice will have a lot of determining factor. This is why we only recommend a 33" tire with that kit. A 33 will fit with no issues which is what most general consumers prefer.

The 66-5075 strut extension provides on average 2.4" of lift and in most cases make the truck look dead on level. It should also be said that there will be some variance in the end height achieved as for some reason some trucks will sit a little lower than 2.4 and a few others have been actually 2.5".

The 69-5075 kit we are about to make available has a 3" lift strut spacer and test results have shown the lift to be between 3" and 2.75" on different vehicles. With this strut alone the truck sits a little nose high. Just a little bit. A one-inch OEM design iron block (also included with that kit) will bring the back up to where it is just a tick higher than the front, but still looks rather level.

If you want your truck dead on level-looking, then the 2.4 strut spacer or equivilent is what you will probably want.
