What do you think?

I am seriously considering buying this kit.

07-08 TOYOTA TUNDRA MCGAUGHYS 2-4 2-5 DROP KIT LOWERING - (eBay.ca item 140144342754 end time 28-May-08 16:44:38 EDT)

Should I save a little more and get a kit with spindles? Do I need the shocks right away or can I get them down the road? How easy is the install? I have access to a lift so that will make it a little easier. Anything else I should know before I pull the trigger?

Thanks.
Steve

Hi there steve, I hope you are having a wounderful holiday weekend! IMO I think you should wait till you get the spindle and springs, then drop it if that is your desire, I do not know what or if any damage will happen if you dont have spindle and springs. But you do what you like and what you feel comfertable with. Take care and have a fun safe memorial day weekend

Nick

I don't know much about lowering kits but I do know that a spindle drop is the best way to go. You should ask yourself how low do you really want the Tundra. Then make the decision that it's that height or nothing and wait until you can get that drop kit.

Yes, that part on our truck is the part referred to as a spindle. A spindle is anything that uses bearings or bushings to support the axle.
