Im wanting to order a drop for mine now. Its ground force using leaf springs instead of a flip kit and i was wondering how ride quality would be. I dont want to spend 1200 and have a rough riding truck.

Looks really good. Im probly going to go with the McGaughys 2/4 deluxe kit with spindles so as to not screw up the ride.

Heads up:
I just put the McGaughy's lowering kit on my truck and a local alignment shop could not correct the camber 100%. The toe could be adjusted but the camber is -1.14 on one side and -1.12 on the other side. I am going to get a second a opinion, just wanted to throw this out and get your output on this... The kit went on well and looks great just got to get the front corrected...!

Did you use the spindle or the coil spring drop?

Lowered 07

This is my 07 with the Mcgaughys 2/5 kit. It was necessary to use the 5 inch rear option in order to clear the Borla exhaust. Stock shocks use fit with 4 inch rear but not enough travel. They won't last very long. The shocks recomended for installation with this kit do make for a harsher ride. I really wish the front was 2.5 or even 3 inch drop. I think it would look better when going to 5 inches in the rear.
Lower kit was $387, shocks were $88 and $47 shipping.

Stock Shocks with a 4 inch lower rear

My buddy that provided the lift for our installation showed me the travel left with stock shocks. He said it wasn't enough and within a short time they would wear out. I believed him based on what I could see and order the correct shocks for the lowered stance.
