The kit went on without a hitch and took a few hours working on jack stands. On a lift I could have easily installed this kit in less than two hours.

The instruction sheet leaves alot to be desired, but the kit is so simple it would be easy to figure out without them. I found that the notches in the strut spacers apparently don't mean much. The spacers only fit one way, and that left one set of notches toward the rear on the driver side, but notches forward on the passenger side. Getting the strut back in the lower control arm took a bit of effort; a 2.5" kit would probably drop right in. The diff spacers require a bit of patience to tighten up; carefully reaching in with a wrench to hold the nuts and running the bolts in with an air gun is the ticket. If you are using hand tools you will have to be extra patient.

Alignment was no problem and the truck still drives like new.

As for the rear, the blocks and u-bolts are a no-brainer, just need to torque the u-bolts correctly and check after a few miles of driving.

One thing I am going to add will be limiting straps on the front as the upper control arms contact the spings at full droop. Not a big problem, but limiting straps will correct this easily.

I'm really happy with the results and recommend this kit. The $100 or so you save over other kits will pay for your alignment.

Dont get your allignment right away , a few months back when i was looking for info about kits i read that a guy got his lift put on and did the allignment right away, about 1000 miles later he noticed the allignment was way out but the opposite way. You should drive your truck a few hundred miles to let the springs settle before doing the allignment. I drove exactly 1000 miles on my factory tires with the bad allignment before i put onmy good tires and got the allignment

If I have to have it aligned again in 1000 miles I'll do it, but after installing the kit the alignment was so far off it was obvious to the naked eye. Driving the truck to the alignment shop I also noticed that the caster was off enough that it didn't want to return to center as well as it should. I figured that after the suspension settles in I might have to get it checked again.

Mine should be pretty good as I loosened both upper and lower control arms ( the kit instructions only tell you to loosen the lowers) and I didn't tighten any bushings until I had the truck back on its wheels sitting on the ground so the suspension would be in its normal static position. If you tighten everything with the suspension at full droop, the bushings will actually try to hold the truck up a little until they tweak a bit and settle in.

I like the kit but may swap out the rear 1.5" blocks for 1" blocks. 1/2" doesn't sound like much, but I think I would be better towing and I might like the stance by losing that half inch in the rear. Easily done, it only takes about 30 minutes to do the rear and block kits are cheap.

What did you torque your U-bolts at? I also agree about the patience on the diff spacers, the drivers side was a pain on mine.

I stopped @ 120 which is a little under spec, but they should be fine. I will probably crawl under it and check them again today.
