Coming soon to a Tundra near you.

Received the kit today and will hopefully get it installed by the weekend. I'll get some pics up when I can.

Ok, I started to look over the job tonight and discovered that the instructions are incomplete. They contain enough info to help you figure the job out, but there are a few pieces of the puzzle missing. Aside from some reassembly steps being left out, the instructions for the strut spacers lack some info. At a glance, the strut spacers' bolt pattern looks symetrical, but they are not. The instructions do explain this and tell you to install the spacer with the flat side towards the frame, but the studs are not pressed in for you, so you have to figure out which side is the top of the spacer for each side of the truck. From what I can tell, after the studs are driven in correctly you will wind up with right and left spacers which are not interchangable, due to the offset in the bolt pattern.

The spacers have notches cut in the flat side, and I belive these notches identify which side of the spacer faces forward. (See pics) There is no mention of this in the instructions and the spacers in the pictures do not have these notches.
I called Rough Country's tech line and the person on the other end was very friendly and tried to help, but couldn't give a definite answer to my question. We decided that pulling one strut and test fitting a spacer over the studs would be the easiest way to identify fitment and should be done before driving in the studs.

Guess I'll find out tomorrow when I install this kit after work.

Nuttin to it, but they really should provide better instructions. The pieces in the kit look to be of good quality.

I just wonder how many customers drive the studs in wrong and figure out they have to drive 'em back out in the middle of the install.

Thanks, I was going to PM you and ask. I noticed yesterday while skimming through pics that you used the same kit on yours.

Also wondering, was your avatar pic taken in ONF or Richloam maybe?
