I have a 7 year old daughter and 4 year old son. My wife and I decided that it was time to spend as much time with your children as we could when they are young, so we decided to get a camper & boat. So we slowed our busy corporate lives down a bit and decided to have some fun with our children and friends. The only one thing was, we didn't have anything to tow them with. Since the wife was unwilling to give up her RX300, I decided to take one for the team and get a Tundra. Everyone that rides in the truck, especially when towing cannot believe how powerful it is. I only drive local, so my gas mileage is terrible. I've also driven it like I've stolen it since day one and it's a beast! The other day, I was merging onto the highway with the boat in tow and it did a burn out. LOL.

Even though we have the toys, we explain to the kids that they are a privilege to have, so we must share them with others. We're always inviting friends and family to camp and boat with us. I try to use them as a life lesson to share with others. I also try to make sure that if there is a camper near me that would like to go out on the lake, I take them. One recent experience was this summer when a group of 5 boys were camping with their parents and their boat broke down before they could go out and have fun. I took them out along with their dads and they had a great time. I use it as a opportunity to share my testimony on how God has blessed me and I my family. Last weekend I used the boat to pull three tubes / 4 riders at a time at a youth BBQ lake party our church was having. We had 80 teenagers there and I pulled over half of them over the course of the day.

Stephen Curtis Chapman sings a song, about a busy man. I try to live opposite to the lyrics below:

Here’s a story ‘bout a busy man

I know a man named Billy
He's got almost everything
Three stories, two cars, one swimming pool
And some broken parts of an empty heart
And I'm thinkin'...

Billy, Billy, Billy, you're a very busy man
But, you're running with your eyes closed
You could be missing life all along the way
And you'd never even know it
You're a busy man, Billy,

You've got a lot of nice things there, Billy
But, they've cost you more than you know
'Cause what is it really worth, can you tell me
If you're gaining the world but you're losing your soul
And I'm thinkin', hey...

Billy, Billy, Billy, you're a very busy man
But you're running with your eyes closed
Looks like you traded life for the things you have
Not the thing you really wanted
You're a busy man, Billy
Billy, you're a busy man
Just too busy, man

So, when the day is over and the lights go out
Do you ever stop and wonder, wonder what it's all about
Wonder what it's all about
You wonder what it's all about
Hey, Billy do you ever wonder what it's all about
You wonder what it's all about
Is this what it's all about
And Billy I can tell you’re wondering

Oh, you’re so busy

Yeah, Billy, Billy, Billy, you're a very busy man
But, you're running with your eyes closed
You could be missing life all along the way
And you'd never even know it
You're a busy man, Billy

You gotta stop, Billy

Slow down busy man, take a look around you
When it's all said and done tell me what's it gonna come to
Tell me busy man
Slow down busy man, take a look around you
When it's all said and done tell me what's it gonna come to

Well, the morning was cool so I decided to throw this little guy on. Pretty straight forward.

I really need to clean under this truck. It's almost 14 months old.

Try emailing Toyota of Nashua. Check out the beginning of this thread. We got them for $200 plus shipping on the group buy so maybe he will give it to you at that price.

I paid $230 at my local dealership for one today. On heavy/odd items like this, I'd rather shop local if I can. I bought a pair of nerf bars a while back that were damaged by UPS and I had to pay to ship them back to get a new set... that took out any of the "discount" I got for ordering them on-line. If my new sway bar is damaged, I can tell them to get me a new one and it doesn't cost me a dime more :P

Anybody have any idea what it would cost for shipping to Canada? Toyota here wants $300 Cdn for it, and I am considering it inorder to save all the hassle of shipping and customs and stuff.

Thanks
