Deaver Leaf Springs Availible

I emailed Deaver Springs inquiring about a spring pack upgrade for our Tundra's and here's the response I got from them.........

We will have more springs in stock in a week or so. They bolt into stock location provide an inch or so of lift and have to be run with a total chaos shackle. The springs sell for $670 per pair and the shackles are $105.99 per pair.

Their contact info is.........

Firmer, softer, or same as stock?
Payload up or down?
Is there an increase in wheel travel?
Any guesses at what else they might have in a week?

Edit: Instead of being 'that guy' with all the questions the original poster can't answer, I'll E-mail them over the weekend and let everyone know more specifics. In the mean time, I have to leave work to pick up an engagement ring?!

Their response to your questions was....

The ride is considerably better, Yes there is an increase in wheel travel and there is a slight reduction in payload.

P.S We had the Deaver spring packs on our Titans and the ride was noticeably better (A lot smoother, Took away a lot of the bounce). In order to increase payload you'll have to get stiffer springs which will affect the ride quality.

P.S Congrats on your Engagement!

Congrats! Yeah JT is right...you can get away with everything while you are engaged...just not while you are married!

Now...back to the deavers...

I have heard reports that unless you are an avid off roader...then these springs will be way to stiff for everyday driving. The other solution we may want to ask Deaver is if they will be releasing a smaller spring pack that will replace our overload spring. Generally they are 4-5 springs that fit under your existing pack...giving you the added height, travel and ride quality. This paired with a great pair of bilstien shocks makes for a smooth ride!
