Ive taking my truck with crappy oem street tire's / sway bar / helper bags (bad for 4x4 as well) over and through places most wouldnt try with a better set up for 4x4ing. It just depends on what your really going to do with it and how much exp you have. Most people will never even reach a point where wheel articulation is coming into play at least maxing it out that is.

And as tonyspin said its fast to remove. Tony which 2 are u removing? the "middle ones" then just tie up the 2 flaping metal rodS?

Ona side note my parents got a dodge powerwagon and it has switches in the cab to remove both front / back sway bar and of course lockers its the best modern stock truck ive seen for 4x4ing.

Remove the bolts from the link to the bar. Pull the links back and tie them, then tie one side of the bar to hold it up

id be scared that the part on the axle would slump down or be hit down then drag it or mash it on some rocks. Its only held in place by some rubber that "should" have some lube on it. If i remember correctly on the install you have to lube up the rubber brushings but maybe thats just for install reasons id be carefully the first few times at the least. (the directions for install never mentioned re-greasing)

GRRRRRRR i just re-read my post and your quote i used in it you have addressed this issue i see but ill leave my post up any how to remind me i shouldnt come home from the bars and start posting....

is the swaybar only for the rear, or is there one for the front as well?

oops, thanks, thats what happens when you read about stuff and you don't have your truck yet to actually go out and look underneath.
Next Tuesday it will be built, then two weeks wait for delivery.

Don't sweat it bryker... most all of us have occasionally asked questions about our truck when we weren't able to go look for ourselves. That's what this site is all about!

Thanks for unsderstanding. I am getting really really excited about my new truck. After my last one, which I had tons of mods on ($$$$$ spent) I never thought I'd be looking in modding this one, but I do have the mod fever.

If you're looking for the cure to your "mod fever" bryker, you are absolutely on the wrong forum! These guys will "aid and abet" you until you're broke!
