Any Lifted/ Leveled Tundras on here??

I have been thinking about ordering a leveling/ lift kit. Not sure if I want to just go up 2.5 in the front or go 3 and 1 in the back. I would like to keep the factory ride and not mess anything up. Also, which are better, the Toytec which puts preload on the springs or the kind that go on top (no pre-load) What are your thoughts? Thanks

No preload if you want to keep the stock ride.

Thanx Tox, I'm thinking Readylift. Have you heard any good or bad of them?

I am thinking about the Toytec. But waiting until I can buy my wheels and 35" Toyo MTs. Supposedly people are clearing 35s with NO rubbage with the 3inch kit. I just can't see it.

There are a lot of people that have installed the ReadyLift on their Tundras. Most go with them because there is no preload. I think they are listed as a 2.4" lift. I know those and the 3" DayStars are no preload, but I haven't heard of anyone going with the DayStars.

The Toytec is a preload, but I'm sure Horseman knew that. And lots of people are putting 35's with just a 3" lift. You do have to cut the corner of the skid plate in most cases because that is where it rubs when the wheel is at full lock. I heard some had to remove the little front mini mud guard too. But if it rubs there then you would think it rubs in more places.

I was also thinking of the 3" Toytec but... not sure if I want to lift the back 1". All I want to do is put on some 33" or equiv tires. I have to save up for the Wheels and Tires though. Thinking of buying the lift now and save for the rest.

You can fit 33s w/o a lift. I believe somebody's even squeezed 305/65/18s (34s) on, stock.

You can email me and I'll send ya some pics of my regular cab with 2" toytec and 285/65/18. I have 40" to center of rear tire wells and 37.5 on the fronts. I need some rake for when I tow or haul. Overall, toytecs made little difference in ride, better cornering for sure. The BFG's made it a little stiffer though. Pm me your email if interested. I just don't want to hassle with photobucket and resizing.

Photobucket resizes for you. All you have to do is upload the pics to them and then post the link (or imbed the picture).

If you want 3"/1" and no preload look at the Truxx lift http://www.truxxx.com/toyota_product...a-lift-kit.htm
I know of a couple guys that have it.
