Keep in mind the "new" version is still 2 years old. And as far as coping the disk I know a few that the first time they out the disk in there NAV system locked up. and locked the disk inside.

Toyota releases the new dvd in sept /october. just go to your dealer and tell them that the nav is not reading the disk correctly and if it is within the 3 year or 36k warrenty they will order the new disk at no charge

Welcome to the site Husain!

Interesting, does Toyota make a map DVD for the United Arab Emirates? If so, then I assume this is the DVD map you replaced it with, right? If not, then you will have to confirm that Toyota makes a map for your area, and it should work.

BTW, I was in Dubai in January 07, and man what a fascinating city.

The Burj Dubai was at about the 100 story level then. Have they finished it yet?

Yeah, America is a service centric market that is rarely duplicated anywhere else. I have been to Russia, Poland, Austria, Ukraine and Dubia in the past 3 years and non compare.

I found a place in the UK that may be able to help you. Check out this site:
Discounted Cheap Genuine Toyota Parts and Lexus Parts, Toyota Accessories and Lexus Accessories, Toyota Lexus Lost Keys ECU programming, Worldwide Low Cost Shipping on any Toyota or Lexus Spare Part,Cheap Discounted Toyota Lexus Genuine Exhaust catal

Let us know how it works out...

Also, share some pictures of your truck, like next to the Burj Al Arab or Burj Dubai or even in the desert.

Here is a picture I took of the Burj Al Arab.

There was another member here who got a disk to work in his NAV. He offered to make a copy for another guy. I want to say they were both in the UEA. A quick search of the site didn't reveal anything yet.

Tox, if I'm reading the post right, it was beteel2000 who had access to a Nav map for UAE (see Post #13 of this thread http://www.toyotatundraforum.com/aud...problem-2.html ).

uae tundra, you might try PM'ing beteel2000 and see if he can get you a copy.
