Is there a DVD upgrade to the navigation system in the 2007/2008 Tundra the one I have sucks

Any Double Din Nav/Entertainment system should work.

FYI:
single DIN = 180 x 50 mm (or 7.086614173 x 1.968503937 inches)
double DIN = 180 x 100 mm (or 7.086614173 x 3.937007874 inches)

Here is one of the adapters you could use
Double check, I believe there is a flat black one and a shiny polished black one.

Im sorry i wasnt specific Im looking for a DVD navigation map. The one that is in the 2007 is not very good. Not looking for a new navigation system just the DVD itself.

Oh, sorry, mine came with an AM radio (j/k) anybody else got the skinny?

I have been wondering this question myself....

My 07 map is missing a few new roads around here in CA, and even had some wrong roads listed when I was visiting my Parents in AZ...

I would like to see a whole new mapping format as well...I am sure there has to be a newer CD available and I would think a newer version once a year?

There's usually several listed on eBay so that might be a good place to watch for a newer version of the navigaiton DVD. I just did a quick search and found a seller that has version 6.1 for $125+/- shipped, but I also understand that version 7.1 was just recently released.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way. I intended it to inform and then adults can make up their own minds. I speak from experience in another world with high tech and piracy investigations. I do not mean this as a judgment of anyone and I am certainly not telling anyone what they should do.

Technically these are copyrighted material. Making copies is a technically illegal. I would personally not offer to do that or to buy one on a public forum. Is Toyota or the owner of the copyright going to track the seller, the buyer, or the forum down for a couple of disks? Most likely no, but why even put it in print. The most likely person they would seek information from is the site administrator and who wants that?

Again, I hope I don't come across as being the fun police. I think adults can make their own informed decisions.
