There are videos of guys on youtube who claim to run their trucks off one HHO generator they built themselves. I don't know whether to trust them or not.

what he said, i have some plans but they include building and electronic controller for the generator that would increase the output and lowere it on demand.....

If I had some plans to build my own, I'd try it out on a smaller motor. Maybe the push or riding lawnmower. Possibly the ATV if those go well.

I started with this site to get information. Water Car Run on WATER+Fuel. Hydrogen Save Gas=FREE ENERGY! but I ended up buying a kit from Tim Demers at Home Then I started making my own and modifying the design based on Google searches and YouTube videos I saw of different peoples designs they were trying.
The truck you saw running solely on HHO was something called a Joe's Cell. If you are interested in reading the theory behind this design look here http://www.thejoecell.com/ I don't have the skills to build one of these myself but I will say the general design they use + N - N + in the plates does in fact work very well. By far the most efficient design I tried (I have no idea why though). It pulls about 12amps per generator but produces significantly more HHO. Basically I was able to replace six generators of the old design with two of these and got slightly better mpg. There isn't a document available on making them so I just followed one of the YouTube videos of a guy describing how he made the plate design. It turned out to be very simple.

I started off by putting four 64oz, four rod versions (Tim only sells two rod versions, I made the four rod versions myself) plus two 32oz four rod versions for a total of six. But with the new 5 plate design I only have two 64oz versions. I am going to add a third soon after I upgrade some of the wiring to handle the increase to 45amps. You could ramp up the rod versions with more baking soda to produce more but then it would get very hot. The plate design seems to produce a lot more but without generating as much heat. I also got my MAP sensor enhancer yesterday. So I will look to get that on the truck this week and see how it does.

Did you throw any error codes running the system without the map sensor enhancer? How about o2 mods - have you done any ? Thanks John

I'd be interested in seeing some pictures of what you have on your truck too. Sounds interesting. Off to YouTube I go...

I thought I would dig this thread up, it seems to have slowed down a little. I have been a member of a forum at Hydrogen Generator :: Index for a while and HHO is real and it is not to difficult to build a generator and is quite interesting to boot.

This forum has several links to hydorgen stuff.

I have built 3 generators to date with mixed results. I think that I have most of the bugs worked out and within a couple of weeks hope to test my latest version.
