Buying a "factory" navagation system

I bought my truck without the Nav & Back-up camera option. Does anyone know how much I can pick one up for and if the install is simple? I tried looking on e-bay for it with no luck.

I don't know about the Nav part, but the camera is very simple to install. Takes about 15 minutes...all plug and play.

You can get a WAYYY better nav/dvd player for the same or less price of the factory one. Look at the pioneer z3 thats coming out or an eclipse. You will also get the ipod connection as well as bluetooth and nav traffic and all that if you want

hate to say it but...............he's right, unless you just need the OEM nav, you can get the camera by its self and hook it up to the aftermarket unit with no hassles....(well sorta none), i like the avic d1, had it for a while in my es300, love it!!! i have the i-pod and sirius on it, nav-traffic isn't down here yet so opted for the sirius, will prolly get a bluetooth setup next on it, but mine is showing it's age so i might just upgrade to a newer unit.........

I spotted a wireless back-up camera in a stylinconcepts custom accessories catalog.

The camera mounts to the license plate hold-down screws, while the 4.5" monitor will mount to the dash or visor. 12v outlet or hardwire for power.

I wonder if it's worth the $129.

A couple of people have used them with mixed results. Some said they work, others said the truck was too long and it was hard to get a signal. One guy said he saw his truck driving on his screen one day. Apparently the wireless security system of the building he was passing used the same frequency. Weirded him out for a second.

I have a Pioneer Avic D3 w/ that option. How big of a deal is it to wire one up?

Ebay OEM sterio with DVD navigation

Here you go...eBay Motors: 07-09 TOYOTA TUNDRA SEQUOIA JBL GPS NAV DVD NAVIGATION (item 290296374292 end time Feb-21-09 10:22:26 PST)

I do not know if it is a deal or not but found this a couple days ago. I already have this unit with all the bells and whistles but thought about buying it and flipping it. I am no longer interested at that price. Maybe others here will advise you about whether or not this is a good deal to bid on or what your max bid should be. Good luck!
