Very nice Tox! Mine is under the dash like Rarjars and works great, but if I had seen your job, I probably would have bought another kind with front controls and put it in there too.............great job.

Thanks guys.

I really wish that Toyota or someone else (cheaper) offered one that fit in that cubby hole below the tow/haul button. I think that would be a great place for a brake controller. It would be easy to remove the compartment and there is plenty of room behind to put one in. And I never use that compartment for anything else.

Good looking install. I still love the blue LED change out in the dash.

Want to see a picture with more blue in it?

On this controller I can change the color, brightness and contrast of the screen. I doubt I would change the colors more than once, but nice that they thought of it.

Brake controller install ???

Is the adapter in the glove box all I need or is the toyota harness for the extra 15$ make it an easier install. Also , I see everyone seems to go for the prodigy model, what is lacking from the more expensive models?

Yep, all you need is the Yoda adapter and a brake controller. BTW, I have the cheaper Tekonsha Voyager and it works great for me, and I've pulled close to 11,000 a couple of times. Just depends what features you want and where you mount it.

Your brake controller will also come with a wiring harness and a wiring diagram. You have to match and connect the wires. And it's plenty long to mount almost anywhere across the dash. If you don't want to connect the wires, then buy the premade harness and it'll be easy.

After you mount the brake controller itself, whalla, you're done!
Has anyone seen a pic of this socket. I have 2006 Tundra with a Tow Package, but I cant find this socket for the life of me.
