| WARNING! Don't Remove Your Decals Toyota is advising everyone not to attempt to remove the decals on the Tundra. Toyota says that the decals are part of the paint. If you remove the decal it will leave a pattern etc. I have seen on other forums where people took off the decal and ruined their paint. The only decal I am aware of is the TRD decal. There may be others, but that is all I have seen.

| Great info Sky! I made a copy of this thread and stuck it in the exterior forum. Can you imagine how costly of a mistake this would have been for the uninformed? So what did they do shoot the clear coat over the decals?

| That is what it sounds like. I guess Toyota had some people wanting their Tundras repainted under warranty. Of course Toyota said no, so now they are warning people not to remove the decals. |
