No way would I ever put somthing like that on my truck. I dont care how much it improves gas mileage.

I've seen pics of something similar before. I don't think it helped the gas mileage THAT much, if at all...........may be wrong tho'

I am pretty sure that a regular cap will give you a 1mpg boost, even with the extra weight.

I used to drive the same HWY route over and over and got 18mpg back in 1996, when I got a cap, the milage instantly went to 19mpg.

coincidence? rings finally seated? I blame the cap.

Those of you who don't care about using less gas, just remenber, all that extra money you spend on gas looks damn GOOD to the oil Sheiks in the Mid East and you can bet they don't have our countries best interest at heart.

I think if we were all that concermed, we wouldn't be driving a tundra to start with...
