I got $8000 in July and now I'm thinking I got screwed! Well I definetly knew I was getting screwed on my trade in. Nobody wants a 3/4 luxury crew cab right now.

Toyota offered $4500. Dealer matched down payment up to $4500 so I put $4500 down. $9000.00 in dealer/factory rebate plus they came down another $400.00 and filled the tank. Sold me the 7 year/75,000 mile 0 deductable warranty for $1000.00 so it was $22,000 OTD. (taxes, plates, doc fees yada yada)

I thought it was a good deal so I pulled the trigger.

After a year and half looking and the 99 Jeep GC needing constant prayer to keep going. I purchased a 2008 4x4 CM Limited. After looking at this post I think I got hosed. Invoice 43K'ish minus $450 and 2K for the Jeep which was high wholesale and 2K down (no matching though) plus 5K from Toyota ended up after taxes at $36K. This was the truck of a lifetime for me but there was no way the Jeep was going to make it far enough to get the kind of deals you guy got. Was the 9K and 8K off MSRP or Invoice and where did you buy it for that?

I got $8000 off of sticker price. I bought mine from Midwest Toyota in Hutchison, Kansas. Just seen a fully loaded limited crewmax on ebay for $10000 off sticker yesterday. It was a 2007 built truck though so it's been on the lot for awhile. Mine was on the lot for two days. Born on date is 07/08 on mine and I bought it in July.

My sticker was $49,854 after all the add ins. I'm guessing it was one of the last ones built in Princeton and arrived from the factory on the 2nd and to my driveway that evening. How do you to find out the build date. I figure I got about $12K off MSRP as it was $38,623 after $5K and $450 off plus $399 dealer prep. Like I said I couldn't find a Red Salsa Pearl CM Limited anywhere with NAV, Moonroof and Gray or Tan leather. The Pueblo dealer said that there were 15 of they within 500 miles and ALL of them were in Freight status. Mine had 8 miles on it when I drove it off the lot and 6-7 of them were by the inspection guy at the dealer. I guess what it comes down to is this: No matter how great or good a deal you think your getting someone else is getting better. I didn't have to deal (Costco Pricing) and ended up with free tint and clear bra.

The build date is on your drivers door jamb. Its on the white sticker I think on the top right side. It'll be month/year. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll go take a pic.

That seems odd as mine was also born on 07/08 which was the number on the top line. Guess that make our trucks twins or something like that. Seems odd that it would take that long to ship from Indiana or I guess it could have been built at the end of July, but that's still a month to get to Colorado.

I like my 2008 tundra SR5 DC with the TRD package, it has the 4.7 V8, I put on the K&N system, and magnaflows, I only have 3300 miles on it so it's really not broke in yet and I'm still getting 19 1/2 mpg hwy and about 16 city w/o a/c on. Not bad for now.

I saw on tv last weekend that they are going to expand the offering on an Ivan Stewart edition Tundra for 2009. Anyone seen one of these? I've been to a dozen dealers in the NW and wasn't even aware of these.

I saw some interview with him and he mentioned the truck. He said he took some parts from a few of his sponsors, stuck it on the truck and put his name on the truck. Glad he put a lot of thought into it.

Anyone else notice that the belt buckle badge is on the door under the mirror instead of on the fender?
