The four-seater FT-EV II runs on lithium-ion batteries and has a top speed of more than 100 kilometres an hour.
Um, I know I'm a lazy American who doesn't understand Metric measurements and is usually too lazy to convert, but I'll make an exception this time; isn't that only around 60-65 mph? How can it be considered a "sports car" if it tops out at 65 mph?

100km/h is 62mph. It's fast from stop light to stop light.

Like the Tundra! Mine rarely sees anything above 65mph, but gets there in about 6 seconds.

I'm thinking it must be a misprint and they mean 100 MPH.

Isn't it a Canadian article? Don't they play with the metric system up there?

Yeah but 100km/h is pretty good for an all-electric vehicle. No one talked about the max speed for the gas-powered one. This article breaks in the middle and starts talking about the electric FT-EV II.
