| I never got a letter yet. I purchased mine in the US but I live in Canada. but I don't understand the letter. I have hooks on the floor and my aftermarket weathertecs have holes and work great... I still don't see a reason for the recall? do some of you not have hooks ? |
| ||||
| Every one I've seen has the hooks, so like you Override, I'm a little confused as to the problem... well, I guess that is unless some folks are removing the hooks???? I do know they can be a pain to unhook and hook when either changing mats or trying to clean them. |
| |||
| Got letter, have hooks and aftermarket weathertechs on those hooks. I still don't believe that the reason for the crash that led to all these letters was the mat getting stuck and causing WOT, NO SIR! |
| |||
| They warned you to save their behinds. So anyone with a mat that causes similar wreck is blamed on mat until someone without mat, (less then 1%) gets in a similar wreck. Raise your hands if you believe the mat was real culprit in the accident in question. Thumbs down if you believe it was computer related on the ES 350. |

| I have a hole in the carpet for a hook, but no hook and no hole in my mats either!!

| My carpeted mats, Yoda OEM all-weather mats and the Weathertech floor liners all have the holes KC... and my truck has the hooks. If you have the setup for them, wouldn't hurt to go to Yoda, ask for the hooks and the mats that fit the hooks and see what they say. Can't hurt, right? |
| ||||
| When I got my letter I took the mats out....then I got to thinking about it... Since 'Yoda put the hooks in place and I had mats with holes in them, as long as I check'm each time I get in the truck I'll be OK, so I stuck'm back in...........to hell with the letter. Steve

| BTW, got my letter today also. Damned if I'm gonna ruin my carpet by removing the mat.... the hooks and the mats are just fine. Trust me, IMHO, this "issue" has nothing to do with mats that have the hooks and mats with holes. |
