Slight Bump after stopping

I have noticed on numerous occasions when i come to a stop either a slowing stop or a quick stop after a few seconds of being completely stopped there is a minor bump or almost like a shift down. Kinda feels like someone tapping my rear bumper from behind. I have read the forum and seen similar comments but most were related to the 4WD and the driveshaft which a bullentin was out on. Is this slight bump normal for a 2wd or is this something i need to have checked before warranty runs out.

thanks

Have it checked out. Be sure you can reproduce it before you go in or you might be wasting your time.

I called the service department today and the guy knew exactly what I was talking about. He said it was a slip yoke that needs greased. We will see.

I've read about this many times, and I only get it when I brake hard to come to a complete stop - if I marginally let off the brakes just before coming to a complete stop (so as to smooth forward/rearward body roll) it doesn't happen.

I've noticed the same thing in mine. Eagerly waiting to see if it fixed it.

Mine goes in on Tuesday.
I'm over the factory 36k miles, but there are some TSBs that cover up to 60k and hoping it falls in that category.
