Where to buy different ring and pinion.

I have an 08 4x4 Dbl Cab 5.7L with tow package, I lifted the truck 6.5 " and running 35" tires on 20's getting 12.5 mpg. What ratio can I buy to bring the truck back to at least 18 mpg. Who sells after market 10.5 ring and pinion sets? Can't find a Toyota ring and pinion distributor in AZ. Anybody have any ideas outside of putting the truck back on 33" tires or buying the supercharger.

If I'm not mistaken the 4.7 engine uses a different ratio.

Whether it will fit or not I don't know.

You have a 4.30 rear end. The Sport Appearance Package trucks came with a 4.10. I think the 4.7 has a 4.10 also. The V6 has a 3.90 rear end. You could see if the V6 uses a 10.5" ring and pinion, but I would imagine not. Remember that you need to replace the front differential at the same time.

the 5.7 uses a larger ring gear than the v6 or the 4.7 if memory serves me right.
changing ring gear is not going to change your mileage that much.

Changing your rear end will help mpg at highway speeds. But it will hurt your towing and takeoff. GM only offers a 3.73:1 so that they can boast about their mpg being higher than other full size trucks. Good luck towing with those.
