There are some like that and others who want to do what you are looking for. Most of those are waiting for better suspension products to come out of for early adopters to share their results before committing to buy the same products. There is a lot of talk here about motor enhancements if you look around.

Torxarch,

I'm planning to do this mod next weekend but will be using the NPT instead of the Toyota union. Do you know what thread size of the NPT I should get? Thanks.

You might want to check with other write-ups on the internet to see what size NPT to use. I measured the outside diameter of the breather I pulled out and it is 3/8". Then I referenced this website to find the nominal NPT size:

Determine pipe thread sizes from FAMOUS PLUMBING SUPPLY

According to that, I think you need a 1/8 NPT Union. Just be aware that NPT uses a tapered threading so it is skinnier at the bottom and wider at the top. It's a small difference at this short of threading. So don't try to tighten it down too much. I have no clue what poundage it is supposed to be tightened to.

Sorry for the late reply. Never saw your post. In the Tacos, they extended the front diff. and the tranny breather up into the engine compartment. I would hope they did the same for the Tundra, but I have not found out if this is the case or not.

Welcome to the forum and you are welcome. It's a very easy mod and doesn't take too long once you have all the parts.

Since I am having the leaks on the differential looked at on Monday, I put the stock breather back on. Good thing I was outside with a breeze blowing, that rear diff fluid stinks. It was much quicker to remove than install. Took maybe 5 minutes to swap them out, and that was just because I had to go get a zip tie. I referenced this thread so I would know what sockets to grab before I went outside. I just tucked the hose up under the bed and zip tied it in place until later.

Toxarch Thanks. This will by my first mod on my truck, just my type cheap, cant get into to much trouble (knock on wood), and wont have to worry ever time i launch my boat or 4x4 through some creek.

also tox, dam man, been reading though your write ups gota say top notch work. Glad your here hacking / drilling away and sharing with us. I'm differently hesitant to try new things on my NEW truck but having you blaze the way differently helps me get over my nerves a little. I think next... i need to try and get some lights smilier to yours (behind the grill) but ill need to figure something different out since i cant do any metal fabrication (the brackets, latch u made). Ill come up with something I'm sure or break down and beg / pay a friend to weld me up something. If i do it differently ill post about it for others.

Actually, most all of the mods are no drill installs. I try to do it where it can be returned to stock and most will never know the mod was done.
