No, I haven't yet, and unfortunately, I'm back at work in Lafayette, LA and don't have any long guns with me here. If I can remember weekend after next, I'll try my Ruger .308 and my Browning shotgun to see how they fit and take some pics if you would like. If you don't want to wait that long and you're up to trusting the manufacturer, they do have some pics of the long guns in the unit near the bottom of the web page (Official DU-HA Website) I listed above.

Pretty nice storage unit. I definitely like the long gun holders.

Right now, the little one's car seat (full-on 5-point harness style) is on the drivers side, which is the larger half of the seat. The older one has a "booster" (easy to move) on the passenger side. So yeah, I could just lift the passenger side and access into the box, but makes it limited to how much I can reach.

For how often the kids are in the truck compared to how often I'm getting things out of the back, I'm kicking around reversing the car seats and putting the little one's seat on the passenger side. More inconvenient for when she's in the car and I need to buckle/unbuckle her, but would give me access to the larger of % of the storage space. And it would be easier to see her by turning slightly and looking over to her (I can't see her in my rear-view because she's so small).

First things first though, I have to get seat covers. Then I may be able to start thinking about storage.

Hey, that is nice rarjar, I want to see it in 6 months from now! haha all that room, will it look like your closets in the hallway or room you don't use? Well maybe you keep all of your closets clean and organized. Looks like you could fit a full sized blanket on the passenger side area.

Hey great to see you back on here nat... unless I've missed some of your posts, seems like it's been a while. And, lol, I suspect in a few months, as you popinted out, the old underseat storage unit will be full to the rim! You know that old saying, "nature adhors a vacuum," it is the same for any storage area in a truck!

Rear Seat Toolbox & JBL Subwoofer

You need to remove the subwoofer (and the accompanying plastic enclosure) to install the factory toolbox. You can get a "shallow series" 8" subwoofer from Pioneer (TS-SW81D) and make a 9x12x5 inch box that will hold the new shallow subwoofer nicely in the space behind the toolbox. The new subwoofer is better than the one that came with the truck, sounds great and now I have a full sized factory toolbox ($99 on ebay) without giving up extra space or loosing a subwoofer.
