| Chicksdigemtoo, To your question about the OEM filter service life and Amsoil. The answer is no. The OEM filter has a service life of 5000 miles. So, even using Amsoil with an OEM filter you must change the filter per the OEM change requirement. Amsoil's filters are specially designed for the extended service life of Amsoil's motor oils. Sorry, I am a Lifetime Dealer and am in the same boat with my new Tundra. But, as I had long conversations with AJ Amatuzio at the 1978 convention in Atlanta, I took the opportunity to write him and tell him the plight of Amsoil users with vehicles that use cartridge type filters. Hopefully, Amsoil will work on making them for us.
