Talking Did you know................about your Tundra

I been looking around every Toyota forum and I did not find any mention of what I had discovered before Christmas.

Did you know if you have a cell phone that is an MP3 player that has a aux jack/headphone that if you plug it in to he AUX jack while you listen to music, you can take a incoming call and it essentially it is exactly like the bluetooth in the Limited Trucks?

Well it is. I was driving to the mall to pickup a gift listening to Into the Night, by Santana & Hinder? on my cell/mp3 player (8gb micro sd in it) and my phone rang in the cab (truck spkrs) I just hit talk and my wife was on my truck speakers and I just spoke to her. I asked her if she noticed anything was diffferent in my voice, she said no, she did not hear a echo of her voice either. We got done talking I ended the call and the music continued.

If this is new to you, try it, it was a pleasent surprise, I did not see this mentioned anywhere in any manual.

btw I have a Motorola VE 20.

Most memory cards report about 2000 mp3 songs for an 8 GB memory card... more than I would ever need, lol!

Hmmm.... I might have to give this a try. I have my phone bluetoothed to my Garmin GPS and it really sucks whether I'm aux in to the radio or using the GPS speaker. I even bought the Garmin mic and clipped it to the visor and it worked better, but if I talk to any Parentals 65 and over, they are just too old school and hate it and can tell the difference and request I talk to them through the phone. I had a RAZR last yr and it was awesome through the GPS. It would alert me to a text message received then read it to me all "War Games" like through the speakers. "Shall we play a game?"
