| 2008 tundra crewmax 4X4 6" pro comp stage 1 lift issue I have a 2008 toyota tundra crewmax 4X4 . I am having a local garage put on a pro comp stage one lift on it! the issue is the drivers side is not right. with evereything installed and the right front tire off the ground it has some play in it like the bearings are bad or somthing, the axle nut is tightend to 200ftlbs like spec says. also the brake caliper had to be shimmed out 1/16 to keep from rubbing rotor. the rims are procomp with the 5.5 backspacing. we are racking our brains to figure out why the tire and rim has some slop in it. the truck only has 5000 miles on it! please , please help me if you can! my truck has been in the shop 4weeks now! |

| I can't think of a reason why it would be loose.

| Might be as simple as a bad wheel bearing. The axle nut does not adjust anything. If something has play in it you should be able to spot it. Do you trust the shop performing the work? I'm pretty certain that if someone brought a vehicle into my shop with obvious play in the front end we could pinpoint it rather quickly.
