How do you grease the driveline

Does someone have a procedure or the manual that shows how and what to grease on the drive line?

I'm pretty sure the U-joints are all sealed just like the tie-rods and balljoints.

I thought I saw one of the pdfs that showed where to grease everything. Unfortunately, I lost most of my pdfs or I would find it. I think I remember zerk fittings to grease the U joints on the driveshaft.

Check this thread out:

http://www.toyotatundraforum.com/tun...haft-bolt.html

squid has posted a pdf in that thread which shows the prop shaft system and some lubrication points.

I checked the 4WD PDF that Squid posted and also checked under the truck. I didn't see any zerk fittings. (Perhaps I missed it!) Should we just apply (lather) the grease onto the parts with the arrows in the PDF? In other words, how do you grease parts like the spider and the spider ring, or the intermediate shaft end that goes into the univ. joint yoke?

There should be zerk fittings at all those points.

My 07 reg. cab has a grease fitting on each u-joint. The rear shaft has fittings located on the end of u-joint cross / bearing. The front shaft for 4 wd has a fitting on the cross itself. The front fittings are a bitch to get a grease gun on.

This is amazing!

My last 3 new trucks all had sealed u-Joints, ball joints and tie-rods and when I first discovered this it gave me concern but after a total of 278,000 miles between the 3 it's nice to not have to mess with it.

I hope to crawl back under my truck this weekend and look for zerk fittings. I'll let you know what I find... and hopefully take some pictures to.
