I hope we are wrong, but this is the inside of the chip. All it is a resistor in a box with 2 wires coming out.

Beware of SLR

Update,

Well I gave the SLR chip a month and several hundred miles of trying out and it didnt help my truck in anyway so I put in for a RMA refund. So far I have gotten three emails from them stateing that I might have not connected the wires good enough to we dont have a diagram for your truck so for me to check with my dealer and that they would be happy to show me where the IAT or MAF sensers are.

Hello Miles,
We have vehicle specific diagrams for most vehicles, however we
do not have specific wiring diagrams for your vehicle at this time. We
recommend that you either contact your dealership, a mechanic manual or
search online to find the exact IAT wires. The easiest way is to contact
your dealership. They have this information readily available in their
computer system. They will also do this free of charge.

Im a retired Federal A&P Aircraft mechanic and yes I checked more than twice
before I spliced into the MAF senser that is located on the air box tube
before you get to the intake.I did notice alot of different ajustments being
made by the unboard computer for a few weeks but after a few hundred miles
it got adjusted and stable some what but not enough to make much of a
difference in my performance so please send me a RMA# so I can return the
chip and get my refund

> Hello, Did you locate the correct IAT sensor and everything is snug and

> sensor

I already know which wires to connect .On my 07 Tundra 5.7 looking at the
IAT they are the first two on the left side. Now I have been told you have
given people the run around and I took a chance since you stated no
questions asked if needed to return.I want to return this so called chip and
I want my refund. While your stalling on my return Im going to report back to
several forums and let them know what a pain it is to get you to honor the
return policy.Im a 53 year old mechanic and Im already tired of this email
stalling and will soon be posting this problem all over the net so please
generate me a RMA so I can get this situation behind me.

Well I was warned by several good people here so I wanted to be sure that no one makes the same mistake that I did.All I can say is SLR company is a lying take your money rip off so beware.

Good luck with your refund. And thanks for coming back on here and giving us an update even though it didn't turn out the way you anticipated. It's not easy to admit that you may have gotten ripped off, hopefully not, hopefully the company had good intentions and you get a full refund.
