| Things like this are better off letting someone who does this for a living fix it...I would also consider using my ins. to rectify thats what we pay ins. for isnt it? also I would have cried like a baby or be in jail for killing a stupid person that dented my truck.. just sayin |

Anyway, I found it was very hard to maneuver a big ass truck after I had driven a small car for a long time. Also found that other people had problems in that garage as my rear bumper has two nice sized dents from people running into it. As far as I am concerned, once I got passed that first scratch, it made the rest of the scratches easier to accept. I figure as long as bare metal is not showing then I am cool. |

Using insurance is never an option for me, because I have my deductible way to high, to have a lower rate. |

| You just have to shop around. There's usually an area in every town and city where these body shops congregate usually due to zoning laws so that should make it easier time wise. I kept taking my car to the same shops over and over looking for a better deal to have damage on my rear bumper repaired. One Thursday I walked in to one of these shops and the owner and his employees were playing checkers. I asked them if they wanted pocket money for the weekend. They came down off of their original quote of $850 to $500 if I paid cash. Job was finished by Friday afternoon and looks perfect. Seek and ye shall find. Just be patient. |

| I have had great service with state farm...been with them for over 15 years so I wouldnt know about going up on rates..guess it depends on how often and with whom you claim incidents. I just figure I pay for it why not use it. just me I guess. |

| If you know someone in used cars they usually get these mobile fiz a dent or scratch guys that come to the dealer to "fix up" the cars and resell them. I would Make friends with one and use those guys, they are usually much cheaper than maaco or similar places |
