Second Oil Change....and Loading Ramps?

I'm picking up my new 2008 4.7L DC with 9500mi this week.

I'll be using Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic, but i wanted some input on weight. I've read about the 5.7L needing 0-20 or 5-20 weight, but i'm not sure if this applies to the 4.7L or not. Any input would be great.

Also, i would love to find some good foldable Loading ramps. Hauling riding lawnmowers and garden tractors, etc. into the bed. Any input with links would be appreciated......pics don't hurt either.

Thanks crew.

Matt

For a riding lawn mower, you will want a curved ramp or you will high center at the top of the tailgate.

This is just for the purpose of an example of a curved ramp. I am not recommending these ramps or this seller:

I'd double-check the Owner's Manual Matt, but as I recall Yoda recommends either dino or synthetic 10W-30 summertime and 5W-30 wintertime (at least in the temperature zone I'm in) for the 4.7 L.

Thanks guys.

I'm sure it will be 5-30 winters here.....(NW missouri)

it would be nice to find some decent ramps. it's also hard to make a judgement call on quality via the web. i guess i'll just head out and start looking around.

thanks again,

Matt

I know that places like tractor supply and Lowes have ramps so you can get a good visual.
