Nice find Steve!

All in all the G-tech faired well enough for what we would use it for. But after reading this It would make sense to spend the extra $100 to get G-tech RR model verses the G-tech SS model.

The one complaint I've heard about the G Tech is the unit must be on a perfectly horizontal plane to achieve the best accuracy. You are correct that it's great for most of our purposes, assuming it has a high percentage of repeatibility.

Nice find! Out of all of them...I think its the best bang for the buck. I wonder how much recalibration it would need between our two trucks?

How often do you and JT plan on using this? I would use it only after a mod to see what the gains/losses are. Personally, given the lack of power adders available at this time, I'm not sure I could justify spending $200-300 on a toy that wouldn't be used much, nor would I be practicing 1/4 mile and 0-60 times - afterall, It's Only A Truck.

Just Kidding.

LOL..yeah it's just a truck, But we can't all afford Vettes!

It would be useful for testing mods as you mentioned, Also for testing the different ways to run our trucks in the 1/4 mile (Auto/"S" mode, Trac. control on/off , tow haul..ETC) without having to sit through the lengthy lines at the track for a few runs.

I hope ya'll realize my "It's just a truck" comment was poking fun at The Other Forum's membership mentality. Hell, I've owned and raced cars a WHOLE lot slower than the Tundra, had lots of fun doing it, and will probably get a timeslip or two myself after a break in period.
