Oh I have been into the throttle more now becuase of the sound. Makes the Banks sound awesome.
Also noticed that the eng temp is lower , just about a line or two.
THAT is a huge help, since running an eng 10-15* cooler for 100K will reduce wear.

Could it be that you like the sound of the intake? - Rone says...

Hell yes!!! I hit the gas yesterday, and the sound...a friggin beast!!! Oh yeah, I tested a tank of gas last week and got a 1.5 gain! But this week, let it rumble!!!

Please do. The site vendors don't contribute one red cent to this site but are here because they are willing to give the members good deals and great customer service so I'd take advantage of this whenever possible because in most cases I doubt you'll find a better deal anywhere else (Volant for example).

I think if anything it's due to using the AC a lot more. I have had to step on it a time or two, but that's somewhat typical these days with all the morons on the highway.

Had an 18-wheeler decide to gently hint that I should move the other day when he was changing lanes accidentally. The sound of the engine was nice, but my jump in heart rate was not. :-0

I'm trying to be very judicious on this next tank to see what happens, and then I'll do a reset.

Got mine in today and it all went well except.....the top screw hole did not line up with the threaded hole. The cover that goes on top of the filter only has 4 screws now...wondering if Danny could send me one that fits right cuz I don't want to grind on this one to make the screw fit. I did everything I could think of short of using a dremmel or rotozip to make room. Is this normal guys? Or does my cover just have a manufacturer mishap? Not complaining...just wondering.

Mine was funny on one screw, forget which one. I found that if I took all the screws out and then put that screw in first, that the others would fit as well and all the screws would fit.

Mine was the same way. You have to start all of them before before tightening them up. If mine weren't already installed when I got mine I would of thought it was impossible.
