I'm really happy for all of you that have been able to take advantage of this so far and have no doubt you'll be very happy with the powercore. I know I am.

I just received mine as well, and I just finished installing it. I have to say that it seems the fit issues are all still there.

That one bolt on the housing that Toxarch mentioned as problematic in his write up is still there. I actually ended up shearing mine off just trying to get it flush with the housing. I don't think it's going to be a problem since the other bolts seem to hold the housing together fine, but what's up with that? Seems like a simple thing.

I also noticed the slight gap on the intake at the fender, so I put a piece of weather strip there just in case it matters. I also don't know why they didn't include two motor cover standoffs so the clip at the side would go back on as well.

Not all that impressed with the fit myself. I'm reserving judgement overall until I see what kind of improvements in MPG I get. The box actually says up to 4MPG. The filter does seem impressive, so hopefully it performs well.

Disconnect the battery (one side), hit the brakes, reconnect the battery.

Did you remove the neg lead from the batt before the install?

also read somewhere that if the MAF sensor is put in backwards that may happen.
( not there when you did it but just a thought)
