Got my Alignment done

My Tundra has 9000 miles on it. Just about time for another rotate so I was checking the tire wear and I had a little feathering on the front tires.

So I had the boys put it up on the rack and check it.

Sure enough, the Toe was out. Not bad but some.

If it's one thing I've learned over the years, a lot of new vehicles are out of alignment.
It may be the way they are assembled or the transport trucks.

Supposedly, the truck comes with a little camber from the factory. It's supposed to adjust for the suspension settling after a thousand miles or so.

Sure would be great to have a shop, such as you have, close enough to get alignment and wheel balancing work done. I would bet that work is done correctly. I have over an hours drive to the Toyota dealer in my part of the country. Local shops don't seem to care if they do any work and when they do it is not always very dependable.
My gripe for the day I guess!!!!

Hey Bill, I have a question. I am putting on a new set of coilovers for a 2.5" lift and to support my new front bumper and winch (280 lbs). I know I have to get an alignment done after the lift. My question is, do I need to have the bumper on the truck when the alignment is done? My guess would be yes, but I am not sure.
