| Tpms Info I am in the same situation as others I have read about on this forum. My truck came with 18" Styled Steel Wheels, and I have a set of 18" Factory TRD Alloy wheels to replace them. The problem/question that comes up, is, will the TPMS from the steel wheels fit the alloy wheels. I have received conflicting statements, but the most consistent answer that I have received is NO. I have spoken to no less than 5 dealerships, and they all give me a slightly different answer. What the majority of them do (according to them) is to take the actual wheel and match up the appropriate TPMS. Once they do that, then they know what the part number is. The dealerships also told me, that there are no part numbers on the actual TPMS, so even if I break down my wheel, there is no way to know which TPMS I have, and if it will work in my new wheels. We also went down the VIN number lookup road with no success. This is very frustrating for me, because I like things definitive and in black and white. I have attached what information I have obtained regarding the Tundra TPMS and other Toyotas that use the same TPMS including the factory part numbers. It appears, that the STEEL wheels use the 40 degree, and the ALLOY wheels use the 20 degree. 2008 Sequoia (20 Degrees) 42607-0C050 2008 Sequoia (40 Degrees) 42607-0C060 07-08 Tundra (40 Degrees) 42607-0C040/60 07-08 Tundra (20 Degrees) 42607-0C030/50 07-08 Sienna (20 Degrees) 42607-0C050 Also, the cheapest I have found for the TPMS is $90.44 from http://toyotapartscenter.net/. If anyone knows of cheaper prices please share. I hope this will help others in the same situation as myself, that want to have the TPMS working as designed. If this information is redundant to another post, then I apologize. |

| Part number for a 2007 with ally wheels is 42607-0C050 this is a 20 degree sensor. If you buy the sensors there is a 8 digit number on the right hand side mine is 8C62CE53. I have one in front of me for my spare. I wantt to have it activated and do a 5 tire rotation. |

| FYI, In addition to the new TPMS, you will also need new lug nuts for the factory alloy wheels. These are of course dealer only, and the cheapest that I have found them from a dealer/parts outlet is $7.87 a piece. However I found a guy on eBay that sells take offs. His eBay name is shanty137 I bought a complete set of 20 for $102 including shipping. I ordered them on Saturday and got them on Monday.

| Man 7.87 per lug is ridiculous. The dealers must be in with the oil companies.
