I have no experience with lowering man...maybe someone else can help.

You can put on rims that size, but it's the tires that rub.

So what your saying is the 9inch TRD 22s are safe, but 9.5 is much for the front correct?

So If I put on 8.5s in the front, I am safe, and 9.5s in the back, it would rub?

He is saying that it's the tire that will rub...not the wheel. It's the total width of the tire that will affect your truck. You would have to go pretty wide on the wheel for it to affect things....but I can't be sure exactly how wide of a wheel will rub.

Example:
If you have a 8.5" wheel and a 13" wide tire the width is 13" total (roughly)
If you have a 9.5" wheel and a 13" wide tire the width is still 13" total (roughly)
If you put the same exact tire on those 2 wheels....the tire on the 9.5" wheel will be .4" wider than the one on the 8.5" wheel. For every .5" in wheel width the width of the tire will increase by .2" if you keep using the same tire.

Tox can add on if he wants....

I am going for the sport Truck look, similar to what Marky Mark has done, I am not lifting nor putting on offroad tires.

You were asking about overall width correct? I was just letting you know the calculation when it comes to sizing your wheels/tires together. There are alot of factors when it comes to fitting them in your wheel well...but to be sure we need to know if you are lowering, lifting, or leaving it stock. That plays into the "will it fit" category. I would definitely get with Marky to confirm max sizes when you lower it.

Yah, I sent Marky a PM, no response yet. As mentined before, I was thinking about going w/the 22x8.5in +35 offset for the front and the rear 22x9.5in + 35 offset, and the tires I have not decided on yet, I am looking at three different tires, from KUMHO, YOKOHAMA or, GOODYEAR, all rated V. I was either going to get a 2/4 lowering kit or just get Eibacks spring kit which will drop the Tundra enough to give it that sport truck look (1in-1.5in). My assumption is I should be ok with the 8.5s in the front, but I just would like verification if I could do 9.5s in both the front and rear, it would make morse sense in being able to rotate tires. BTW the thread width on the Yokohamas is 9.8in, so that should mean im ok. With the offset being +35, where would the rims be in relation to the body?

Your stockers are +60, your new wheels are +35. In MM, 25MM = 1 inch. So essentially your wheel will stick out 1 inch farther away from the body of the truck. However, the wider the wheel, the more you cut into that 1 inch. Stock wheels are 8" wide by +60 offset. So if you change the offset by moving out 1 inch and you get a 9" wheel, you essentially just moved the wheel out by only 1/2 inch. Make sense? As for "fit" on a lowered truck...I cannot help you there. I guess you just wait on Marky or anyone else to chime in.

Gotcha, Thats helps quite a bit, since stocks are 8in wide and I gain 1 inch, that means the 9.5in wheels only go in 1/2 in deeper then the 8in stock because of the offset, thanks! If my math is correct the TRD 22x 9 with the +50 would go in 1/10of an inch deeper in the wheel well then the ones im looking at.
