So if you change the offset by moving out 1 inch and you get a 9" wheel, you essentially just moved the wheel out by only 1/2 inch. Make sense? As for "fit" on a lowered truck...I cannot help you there. I guess you just wait on Marky or anyone else to chime in.
Thanks for the help. I have to wait a little longer, which is the hard part.

No problem. Just let me or one of the other mods know if you need to add/edit anything to the first couple of posts.

On page 1 of this thread on Post #2...you will get your answer. Here is the direct link if you need it: Official Thread: Tire Answers for All Setups - TundraTalk.net - Toyota Tundra Discussion Forum

Now with that said...there has been an ongoing debate amongst BFG tire owners on here in the past. I listed in that post the biggest tire from BFG that is approved by them to go on our 8" wide stockers from Toyota. There are some members here that have gotten the next size up (which has a minimum approved wheel width of 8.5") and put them on our stock 8" wide wheels. That is up to you, and if you have any wear issues it's going to be your fight with BFG or wherever you bought the tires from. In post #2, I listed most tire manufacturers and the biggest approved size for each brand. The red linked ones will need some modifying of your truck...and the green linked ones will not.
